g15 ventrilo plugin

I was running the legacy Logitech GamePanel software on my PC due to previous issues with the newer software. Vent worked fine on the LCD display with this. I have just uninstalled this, and installed the newest version of the Logitech Gaming Software, and can't get Vent to install the applet to make it. ok i just recieved a g15 keyboard for christmas and am interested in using the lcd plugin that ventrilo has. Unless I'm mistaken i believe i need to download the beta client at the bottom of the download page. So 2 questions: 1) do i download the beta client in order to get the ventrilo g15 display to work? AND 2) is there a way. Can we be expecting the G15 addon to be open source? Im currently in the process of coding a few apps for the keyboard myself, mainly a hl/mod plugin, which i think many of us would like. bohimt is offline.
