I always heard good things about Composers Desktop Project over the years, stuff like it's really cool to mangle sounds, it's very powerful to transform any audio, etc. I've downloaded it (it's now free) and to be honest, it feels like I'm on a DOS 80's program. CDP is Composer's Desktop Project, a sound design tool with tons of different programs for manipulating and processing sounds. A while ago, developers have generously decided to make it free and soon after, Afta8 and Djeorek on Renoise forums made a great tool for using it inside Renoise. (Thanks again guys!)
Has anyone made a front-end for CDP with Max? Let me know because I'm thinking of putting one together.
It is a very big task for which we will need both funding and time. We are keen to promote development within the CDP community of users, but any commercial use needs to be licensed by CDP Ltd.
