A mother stops at nothing to recover her kidnapped son.
In the US, a child goes missing every 40 seconds. You never think it will happen to you. Until it does. Alone and scared, Karla Dyson (Halle Berry) is unwilling to leave the fate of her son's life in someone else's hands. When she catches a glimpse of the abductors speeding away, she decides to fight back. In a heart pounding race against time, Karla begins a high speed pursuit and will stop at nothing to save her son's life.
Great thriller drama that is mostly engrossing from start to finish. A single mum working in a restaurant takes her kid to the fun park. He is kidnapped. There follows a super dramatic car chase plus a desperate attempt by a mother to get back her child. Will the kid be lost forever or will he be rescued?! Halle Berry steals the show but all the supporting cast also give top rated performances. Maybe some parts of the movie a little far fetched but plenty of realism too. The film might suggest that sometimes taking the law into one's own hands is the preferred way. Good music and climatic conclusion assures this picture of: 8/10.
This movie was so amazing. I loved all the action that was going on towards the end most where she's in the shed with the kids and there turns out to be two little girls with her son locked up. In my opinion there should've been more of a bigger story, but this was an amazing movie.
The Emoji Movie might have been a boring and brazenly cynical piece of corporate propaganda, but at least it had the courtesy to be offensive. Kidnap, on the other hand, doesn’t have the the courtesy to be much of anything.
