I searched on I searched on Google and found that people put something under the disc tray and pulled it out and pressed the eject button to put back in and everything was back to normal. I don't I am guessing the manual switch under the tray is not going to help you.

Oct 10, 2010 I have an older fat PS2 and it works perfectly fine but the disc tray somes gets stuck while ejecting and goes back in. I've managed to stop it a little by blowing most of the dust out. Is there any recommendations for this?
