TBS Crossfire or DragonLink? I'm going to get the Taranis Tx, and the 9xR Tx, does one have to change the "frame rate" for this DragonLink UHF to work? I ask because, the EzUHF from ImmersionRC has to be 'in-tune' to a certain frame rate. It can be adjusted via the Taranis/9xR RC transmitters.

20 juil.
UHF Trade-in offer. A lot of people have been telling us that they'd love to upgrade to the TBS CROSSFIRE, but have too much money invested into other UHF systems. Here's your chance to get rid of UHF systems you don't need or want anymore. You can send them in to TBS for a credit on your TBS CROSSFIRE order.

I do not want a pissing contest hate thread! That being said I have invested a TON of money into the TBS Crossfire, but see that most of everyone is flying dragonlink. The only other wing guy I fly with, flys DragonLink v3. I know the whole 433 vs 900 issue. What else is the reason? The TBS stuff is supported
Dragonlink makes a great control system. I haven't tried the newer TBS crossfire or the v3 of the dragonlink. The newer systems both have more tracking / telemetry built in over the control link. 1.3ghz receivers are cheap and eventually "drift" I don't know how to explain it other than to say eventually, the

The TBS CROSSFIRE is a long range R/C link based on the newest RF technology, capable of self-healing two-way communications and range beyond comprehension. With a sensitivity of -130dB, full RF-side diveristy rather than just antenna-diversity, the features already implemented and the future upgrades to come
I lost control of a model 1km away and it dived so I never got control back as the closer you fly to the ground the weaker the link. Also if you ever want to use video on 1.3ghz or 2.4ghz as your license permits, UHF or the TBS Crossfire units are the way to go. I have been using a Turnigy 9XR with Dragon link
