That being said, Shogun 2 is insanely hard. With Shimazu, I can slowly take over Kyushu, but the Otomo clan basically steamrolls the whole I wan't to know if there is a good guide out there for the intermediate player.
This guide was written and tested while playing on Very Hard difficulty. region and some nice clan bonuses they're a popular choice among Shogun 2 players.
