re: Goldbeard Ceadeus solo farming. I'm not a Bow/gunner, but if I were to use a weapon against him. I think that a high powered pellet shooting weapon would do the trick. He's so big that the spread would be able to do a ton of damage on him. It would be quick to break his parts at the very least.
I have read a lot of strategies but my problem is having to constantly heal which isn't a problem with other monsters. I know to get UW Ballista ammo from the argosy captain and gather from ballista spots but GC follows me and snipes me with hydro pump. I'm open to try weapons that don't keep me slowed
Recommended Strategy. The best position to attack the Goldbeard Ceadeus from is right in front of its face. I have done everything by myself up to this point, but I don't know if I will be able to slay goldbeard ceadeus by myself (I'm concerned about the time limit more than the monster itself). I main greatsword, hammer, heavy bowgun, bow. Anyone got any tips/strategies? Any help is appreciated. 12 comments

The Ceadeus is the final quest monster in Low Rank. It is the true source of the earthquakes plaguing Moga Village–not the Lagiacrus–and must be repelled to bring peace back to the village. Of note, there is no multiplayer version of this battle.
