Vet inte riktigt när vandalismen ägt rum om det var innan alla checkpoints upprättades eller om de smygt sig in på området eller hur det gått till.

I have never during this pictures ever made fun or gloated.
Infact the opposite. Several times have I explained what a wonderful town Pripyat was before the accident.

I'm not trolling, because this town should be my hometown if this disaster never happened. Most of the workers moved to a town called Slavutych they built to replace Pripyat afterwards...

I know some Swedish of course, because I have been living, but I mean't more like the graffiti around the swimming pool, and loads of other graffiti around town, but we don't know who it is.

Ye the vandalism and graffiti is a real shame. Almost all of the windows were broken aswell. Some may have been destroyed by decay and weather but many had the shattered glass outside the window frame wich indicates that they were broken from the inside.

It must be real hard to sneak into the exclusion zone. Especially since its almost "in the middle of nowhere", atleast thats the feeling I got during my visit.

But I guess there were lots of looters just after the accident, before the exclusion zone was set up.

Yes it is, disrespecting others hoods... Many things are rumbling by the nature, and Pripyat does looks a little like a forest now. But still the things the looters have done is worse, they have broken in almost every apartment, even the one where my parents live, and I got really angry by then.

I also heard that there were people taking steel and metal from Pripyat to sell it, but they got caught before they sold it.

It's not very hard to get there, but there are tolls. So you have to walk by foot and it is very dangerous, but entering Pripyat is nearly impossible.

I did travel there a time ago by train from Slavutych, a russian type DR9 on about 50 minutes journey. Trains are still going there because they transport workers. But I'm not sure if they run that train anymore...

Yes they are, but there have been trains not so many years ago.

i still have my mothers apartment there but everything is stolen...

haha yes, I know. They never buy new trains, just repair their older ones. Even Chernobyl have several Tem 2 in Yanov, but they are not there all the time.

some 20 to 23 people, but we live outside. Some kilometres away from Pripyat in a small village. In Pripyat there is living 2 old women, about 80+ years but not officially...
