29 Sep 2017 Dragonmech is a setting created for D20 Fantasy (so basically 3.5 D&D). It includes mechs, lunar monsters, a nerf to all divine casters, and lots and lots of fun things to play with. It was designed by Goodman Games, and published under White Wolf's Sword and Sorcery Imprint.
4 Sep 2006 I don't generally like d20 supplements: about a -4 penalty on their rolls to please me, on no particular scale. I don't care for steampunk particularly either: about -2. I'm not much into mech either: about -1. So with a -7 penalty, I didn't really expect to enjoy Dragonmech. I had driven about an hour to get to the
face and have had their greatest impact there, the hundred-odd years since their creation have been more than enough time for knowledge of these new won- ders to filter to all corners of the world. In recent years, strange mechs have been seen underground in the hands of the drow, derro, and even aboleths - not to.
The thing is, I was less than enthused about receiving Dragonmech for review. I like Joseph Goodman's (Goodman Games) work as much as anyone, but we had seen attempts made at Mecha for D20. Doom Stiders (Bastion) had some interesting ideas powering it, but the mechanical execution was sloppy
