You can manually set the following settings before your PS4 system connects to the network: IP address; DHCP Host Name; DNS; MTU; Proxy. Wired Connection. Connect your router to the PS4 console using an Ethernet cable, and make sure both devices are powered on. Select Network under Settings in the home menu. Select Set Up Internet Connection and then choose Use a LAN Cable. Select Easy or Custom and adjust settings as necessary.
