The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The Aldmeri Dominion Invaded Tamriel and the Empire was almost defeated. But in the last hours the Empire signed The White Gold Concordat To be in peace with the Thalmor. Talos worship was banned in one of the treatys. After this The High King Of Skyrim has been murdered by Ulfic Stormcloak the Jarl Of Windhelm. The Jarl made the Stormcloak rebellion to fight against the Imperial Legion stationed in Skyrim. The Imperials ambushed the Stormcloaks and taken to Helgen. One of the prisoners was the Last Dragonborn Who was attacked by mistake And the Imperials did not know that he or she is not one of the Stormcloaks. When in Helgen the Last Dragonborn was supposed to be exucuted But then Alduin the leader of the Dragons attacked the Town. Then The player must escape Helgen and must learn the Way Of The Voice to control His powers. He or she can join the Legion or the Stormcloaks. He or she's destiny is to Destroy the evil Dragon Alduin. While he goes to the Blades Who where disbanded when the Peace treaty was signed. The Dragonborn will save Both Skyrim and the Empire.
This is the big deal? This is the awesome game that everyone is talking about?! I felt this game would be really good, but I mean come on. It's not all that good. Maybe it's exciting for a few days, but afterwards, all it is go around on a big map and do whatever you want. it sounds fun, but it gets quite boring. And one of the greatest games ever created, well maybe adventure games, yeah sure. Why the hell not? But all around game like, not even close!! Come on people, get your heads straight, know the difference between good and AWESOME!! This is good, not awesome. I'll give it the soundtrack, it's good, but not amazing. The game's quite a bore. Now, if you are sure you want this game, go on and buy it, knock yourselves out, but, if you're 50/50 for getting the game, don't get it. It'll be a waste of your money, or your parents money, which ever. But either way, it'll be a waste. Not worth it.
And I'm not talking about the quests, but the atmosphere, the feeling it gives, the sheer joy of being there. Skyrim takes what is great from both Morrowind and Oblivion, improving on it tremendously, becoming in itself a huge epic. Nevermind the bugs, the glitches. It is simply breathtaking. I must admit, I am what one would call a hardcore fan of the series, and very pretentious about my fantasies... This is a game in which the hero is a Hero in everything he does. As a player, you will never stop fulfilling prophecies. It is rewarding every step of the way, like no game before it. I have been playing Skyrim since November, finished it in December. Fan or not... I ask you... Why can't I stop (July the following year)? I have my own supposition. Maybe it's because this game never ceases to amaze me. It never ends. Just like the world.
