Come on guys, Blood magic in Origins was completely overpowered. Totally agree my blood mage arcane warrior was so stupidly OP in DAO that he could solo nightmare which is crazy. evilthecat: In 2, yeah.. it wasn't so good, but mostly because you still needed willpower to wear high level mage armor

You can: Equip any armor, sword, or shield; Deal huge melee damage and take very little; Use any spell in the game—though not as often as a real mage without draining your HP.
Dec 18, 2016 Mage is arguably the strongest class in Dragon Age Origins. If you are non blood mage a few points in it can't hurt though i'd keep it 3-4:1 against magic though especially in the early game. You may need to put in one point if you choose elf rather than human mage to get the second coercion level.
