"sometimes life brings on complecations. throws you in an unexpected curveball. that's what happend to me about two and a half years ago when i got diagnosed for diabetes. we were in the middle of a tour, flipped my whole world upsidedown. but on my way to the hospital i made a commitment to myself, that i wouldn't let this slow me down.
and im here today to tell you.. that it hasn't slown me down. now i know there is some of you out there tonight who just need a little bit of hope, some of you just need a friend. disappointment after disappointment. if i haven't had enough..
i was having one of these days about six mounth ago. so i sat down and wrote this song. and let me tell you something..
TONIGHT.. tonight this song is for you.
this song is for every broken heart, for every lost dream, for every high... and for every low. boston massachusetts, this song is for you.
now, what i want you to do with me right now.. is i want you to sing this out with all your heart, with all your soul. ryan, would you join me?
joe! can you show them how to do with their hands? come on..it's real simple people. just like this..
but you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. sing it out! and you don't know what it's like to feel so low. and every time you smile, you laugh, you glow. you don't even know no, no. come on, i wanna hear you sing it!
but you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. LOUDER! and you don't know what it's like to feel so low. and every time you smile, you laugh, you glow. you don't even know no, no.
now just you and me.. joe, hold your mic out!
but you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone, sing it out! and you don't know what it's like to feel so low. and every time you smile, you laugh, you glow. you don't even know no. one more time, i wanna hear you people..
but you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone, louder! and you don't know what it's like to feel so low. and every time you smile, you laugh, you glow. you don't even know no, no."
