Jung Se Ro Yoon Kye Sang lost his father and his life was destroyed by a murder case in Thailand which also involved stolen diamonds. Instead of giving Jang-mi personal satisfaction, magriage just led to her being dismissed and overlooked by marrige friends and family. I thought the same about the second lead character.
