Free Download Ghostbusters-----------------------------------------DOWNLOAD: http://urllio.com/r28th -----------------------------------------Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz and Egon work at the University where they delve into the paranormal and fiddle with many unethical experiments on the students. As they are kicked out of the University do they really understand their knowledge of the paranormal and go into business for themselves. Under the new snazzy business name of 'Ghostbusters', and living in the old firehouse building they work out of, they are called to rid New York City of paranormal phenomenon at everyone's whim.... for a price. They make national press as the media thinks and pressures everybody the Ghostbusters are the cause of it all. Thrown in jail by the EPA, the mayor takes a chance and calls on them to help save the city. Unbeknownst to all, a long dead Gozer worshiper (Evo Shandor) erected downtown apartment building is the cause of all the paranormal activity. They find out the building could resurrect the ancient Hittite god, Gozer, and bring an end to all of humanity. Who are you gonna call to stop this terrible world-ending menace? After being kicked out of their university, parapsychology professors Spengler, Stantz and Venkman decide to go into business for themselves by trapping and removing ghosts from haunted houses. After some initial skepticism, business is soon booming as The Ghost Busters rid New York of its undead. When a downtown skyscraper becomes the focal point of spirit activity linked to the ancient god Gozer, however, the problem may be more than the team can handle.I mean how could you bring some of the funniest actors from the 70s and 80s into one film, which such a kick ass story? I remember first seeing this movie when I was a kid and absolutely liking it. It gave us something to look at in an imaginative and comedic way. Ghost Busters is an instant classic in my book and believe this was wholly original.
It became a huge part of pop culture when it was first release and beyond. I remember still buying toys for this movie 10 years after it was made when I was 7 years old. Remember Slimer became the Mascot for Hi-C? Yes, I remember drinking Hi-C with Slimer's face on it when I was a child up until about maybe 6 years ago.
This movie though has been replaced by more recent comedies, but in the generation of the kids from the 90s and 80s, is a movie that those who have seen it will not forget that. Even the theme by Ray Parker, Jr. is something that weaved its way into pop culture by its stylistic music.
All in all, this movie is not Oscar worthy, but something the family can sit back and watch together and be memorable.Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis might not be perfect in this movie, but that was most likely their biggest hit. And if you know better any of other works from those 3 guys, you'll know what I'm talking about.
They are 3 little genius, one in each aspect of making movies, and the collided together in this one. It couldn't have resulted in anything better, it was just perfect, for the time.
I'm not gonna talk about the story, there's enough reviews and knowledge over this big hit. Instead, I want to talk about intertextuality.
The movie was made in 1984, same year of some movies I've watched, such as Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Starman, Amadeus, Karate Kid, The Garden of Eden, Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom, Dune... And so many others I wish I had seem... It was a hard competition for prizes, I guess that's the reason why it didn't get so many awards.
Hell, not even former Monty Python's award winning from 12 monkeys Terry Gilliam could win something with his movie, mostly because of poor production (not his fault, at all).
Anyway, this movie has so many deep inner meanings, every time I watch it again it gets me surprised with something I haven't seem before. And I have seem a lot.
Later works from Harold Ramis are my favorite. Every one of them. I think my favorite would be Bedazzled (2000) and, please, don't overlook this amazing movie. It was first written by Peter Cook and shot in movie on 1967 by the same Peter, yes the same Peter who inspired Monty Python and probably most of Terry Gilliam's works.
But I can't get enough of all of Harold R. like Analyze this and that, he only gets better and better in time, maybe going too far and then heading back to earth, hehe. To me, he resembles a lot Calvin & Hobbes (a.k.a Harold) for some reason... I just miss few of his works, like Cadyshack and maybe Stripes.
He also makes appearances like in Orange County or As Good As It Gets. Always playing a really good and smart person, just like in Ghostbusters, but always different sides of himself.
And now he is doing a new work with the also amazing, although weird, Owen Wilson. I think he was best seem with Jackie Chan in Shangai Noon.
Anyway, this first Ghostbuster is amazing, a great story and at least 5 star merit. Worth way more than watching it just once. 5 times might not be enough to fully understand it, and I keep hoping I've had enough at same time I keep getting really good surprises when I watch it again, over time.
Hard to decide the vote between 9 and 10, but since the score right now is 7, I made my mind for a 10+. :)Whoever thought of having evil's final manifestation take the form of a 100-ft. marshmallow deserves the rational mind's eternal gratitude. But praise is due to everyone connected with Ghostbusters for thinking on a grandly comic scale and delivering the goofy goods, neatly timed and perfectly packaged. When three parapsychologists—Doctors Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis)—are fired from their positions at New York's Columbia University, they decide to set up shop together and become "ghostbusters" dedicated to trapping ghosts and other nasty spirits. Unfortunately, they're mostly considered to be frauds, until an ancient Sumerian god, Gozer the Gozerian, takes up residence in the high-rise apartment of Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver), and it seems that only the Ghostbusters can save the Big Apple. The script for the motion picture Ghostbusters was written by co-stars Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, who also wrote the sequel Ghostbusters II (1989) (1989). The film has been twice been novelized as Ghostbusters (1984) by Larry Milne and again as Ghostbusters: The Supernatural Spectacular (1985) by Richard Mueller (the movie's popularity also led to two animated television series, The Real Ghost Busters (1986) (later renamed Slimer! And the Real Ghostbusters (1988)) (1986-1991) and Extreme Ghostbusters (1997) (1997) as well as numerous computer and video games. A remake/parody, Ghostbusters (2016)—complete with new-character cameos of the original cast—was released in 2016. The Board of Regents decided to terminate their grant on the grounds that their theories were "the worst kind of popular tripe," their methods were "sloppy," their conclusions were "highly questionable," and they are all-around "poor scientists." Venkman in particular was accused of using his position with the Psychology Department as some kind of "dodge or hustle." The slime that was found in the library and other places that were haunted by ghosts is described as "ectoplasmic residue," a substance that is supposed to exist on the etheric (or spiritual) plane and can remain behind in the wake of a spiritual, i.e., ghostly, manifestation. The story provides no further explanation as to why it exists or how it seeps into the realm of the living. Perhaps it signifies amniotic fluid, in that spirits emulate birth when traversing the etheric plane.
It was sold by the jar in toy stores to children. Zuul the Gatekeeper, Gozer the Sumerian god of Destruction, and Vinz Clortho the Keymaster were all made up for the movie. However, following the release of Ghostbusters, fans made up a number of legacies, rituals and mythologies about them, none of which have any true history. The song is "Magic" by Mick Smiley. However, the answer to this question is frequently disputed by those complaining that the start of "Magic" as heard on the soundtrack album sounds nothing like the track used in the film. This is because the film uses only the second half of the song, which sounds much different from the first half. Start playing the track at about 2:20 in to hear it as it was in the film. Gozer gave the Ghostbusters a choice of the form Gozer will become as "The Destroyer". If The Ghostbusters thought and had chosen for example: The Joker from Batman, Gozer would reappear in that form to destroy them. The Ghostbusters had to clear their minds and not think of anything or anyone that would appear and destroy them. But Ray had thought of the Mr. Stay Puft Marshmellow Man and Gozer reappeared as the form chosen by Ray, which Ray believed couldn't possibly destroy them, as kids would toast marshmellows at camp fires and The Ghostbusters used their proton packs to zap at Mr. Stay Puft/Gozer and set Mr. Stay Puft/Gozer on fire. Ray's remark to Louis in the movie is "You have been a participant in the biggest interdimensional cross rip since the Tunguska blast of 1909!" First, the writers got the year wrong; the event occurred on June 30th, 1908. Ray's talking about a possible meteor strike in southern Central Russia that had a huge blast area. More info can be read here. After climbing up the 22 flights to the penthouse and going out on the roof, the Ghostbusters find that Dana (Sigourney Weaver) and Louis (Rick Moranis) have been transformed into Zuul and Vinz Clortho, two huge demonic dogs guarding Gozer's gateway. Slowly, Gozer comes sauntering through the gate. Ray orders her to stop all supernatural activity and return to her own realm. Gozer asks him if he is a god, and Ray stupidly replies, "No," so Gozer tosses all four of them across the roof, almost knocking them off the ledge. The Ghostbusters neutralize her with their proton packs, and Gozer disappears, but her voice can be heard ordering them to choose the form she is to take in order to destroy the world. Everyone tries to clear their minds, but an image of the Stay Puft marshmallow man pops into Ray's head. In that giant form, the Traveler comes walking down the street, laying wreck to everything around her. Egon suggests that they may be able to close the gate by zapping it with their proton packs and allowing the particle streams to cross. The plan is successful, Mr Stay Puft is reduced to great gobs of melted marshmallow crème, and Dana and Louis are released from their dog bodies. In the final scenes, the Ghostbusters emerge from the building to the cheers of the crowd, Dana kisses Venkman, and they all drive off in Ecto 1. For the UK television release, approximately six scenes were shortened and swearwords removed. a5c7b9f00b https://pastebin.com/WXP4s29e https://www.causes.com/posts/4956975 https://pastebin.com/xEbUn0QM http://themoghousels.guildwork.com/forum/threads/5ba0f963002aa82e0f4e1e74-no-joke-survival-social-breakdown-movie-free-download-hd https://www.causes.com/posts/4956973 http://www.rainiukas.lt/en/news/view/id/280995 http://www.naminukai.org/en/news/view/id/280947 http://aftercolony.guildwork.com/forum/threads/5ba0f962002aa82e1a2bea34-north-star-download-movie-free http://dayviews.com/quifegi/526822963/ http://cristallum.guildwork.com/forum/threads/5ba0f962002aa82e1a2bea36-una-papa-sin-catsup-sub-download
