Hey y'all I have been riding for about 6 years now different sports bikes, I just recently bought a 2001 zx9r (first carborated bike) it sat for a few years prior to me buying, I know I need the carbs cleaned and jetted but don't want to pay the expensive shop prices. Getting ready to pull the carbs and jet the bike, service manual says to drain the coolant. Is this really necessary or one of those unnecassary.
