To connect your vehicle that has a 4-Way flat connector to your trailer that has a 7-Way connector, you will need to install a 7-Way on the rear of your vehicle. If you just want or If you need the complete 7-Way wiring to operate, you will need Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. Instructions for ETBC7

You could wire the Tow Ready Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole # 30717 and just have the light functions on your tow vehicle without connecting the other wires. For wiring, you will want to use 10 Gauge Wire, part # 10-1-1, which you will need to measure to determine how much wire you will need. Instructions for 90250

Please provide wiring diagram for C57674, the link showing the wiring directions on your web site does not work. I do not have a Brake controller, this will be used on a small trailer with a battery pack and brakeaway brakes. I am not sure how to wire the blue and black wire. I realize the white is ground and I plug a flat 4 pin
