15 Jan 2013 Keith Thomassen publishes a training manual that is reportedly excellent: www.avionicswest.com/ although personally I figured it out by myself by poking buttons, playing with the free Garmin PC simulator and reading the Garmin manual. The database updates are done using Compact Flash cards.
