3 Sep 2017 Thread: Cracked Sram Guide Ultimate S4 caliper (retaining pin housing) Whilst cleaning my bike this morning after a day on the hills yesterday, I noticed what appeared to be a crack at 12-o-clock on the threaded side of the retaining pin housing. I always assumed they were there just to retain the pads.
