22 Jul 2010 If the product of this value and the value of CVar cameraDistanceMax exceeds 50, the max distance will be 50. The camera can not be zoomed out beyond 50 yards. The game will set this value to int(50/CVar cameraDistanceMax)+1 at logout if it is manually set higher than that.
My old max zoom out macro is no longer working. Does anyone have a working macro with the new expansion? I would greatly appreciate it! P.S.
What's the new command for the max camera distance? The one where I don't have to do it every time I log in.

You can now increase the max zoom distance a little bit further by using the following command: /console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6 However, I have to to "solve" this first world problem, I was wondering if there's already a way for WoW to save this setting so I don't have to click the macro all the time.
Warlocks are comparable to professors teaching the string theory while DK's are keyboard smashers. I trust you all know more than anyone else on WoW :D. Anyway, pre-4.1 I had a working macro that allowed me to zoom out to incredibly far distances. Something like: /console CameraDistanceMaxFactor

I know there is the setting in wow to set your zoom level and mine is to max but it seems some videos were super zoomed out. For example being able to see all of Al'akir There's a script that enables you to zoom further out than the max setting in-game. I don't have it, but I'm sure someone else on here
