Interval Regression. Richard Williams, University of Notre Dame, https://www3.nd.edu/~rwilliam/. Last revised February 10, 2017. From the Stata 11 manual, p. 712 (Stata 14.2 manual is similar): intreg can fit models for data where each observation represents interval data, left-censored data, right-censored data, or point
17 Feb 2010 Here is yet another example, which is a slight variation on the example already contained in Stata's printed manuals: www.nd.edu/~rwilliam/xsoc73994/intreg2.pdf The key commands are webuse womenwage, clear recode wagecat (5=.)(10=5)(15=10)(20=15)(25=20)(30=25)(40=30)(50=40)(51=50),
I'm trying to run some analysis on a data set that I know for sure all the dependent variables are right-censored with changing censoring points, so a standard Tobit model is not going to work since in stata for the command tobit I have to specify a fixed censoring point, I tried an old command cnreg but it said
mi impute intreg — Impute using interval regression. Description. Menu. Syntax. Options. Remarks and examples. Stored results. Methods and formulas. Reference. Also see. Description mi impute intreg fills in missing values of a continuous partially observed (censored) variable using an interval regression imputation
The intreg command requires two outcome variables, the lower limit of the interval and the upper limit of the interval. The i. before type indicates that it is a factor variable (i.e., categorical variable), and that it should be included in the model as a series of indicator variables. Note that this syntax was introduced in Stata 11.
399 failure-time data is a subject that has a Stata manual to itself, I simply mention it here for completeness. What can be done to model censored data? One of the most useful commands is intreg. 2 Setting up data for intreg. 2.1 What intreg expects. Alone among Stata's regression procedures, intreg needs two variables to
18 Feb 2010 I have consulted the manual (www.stata.com/help.cgi?intreg), and three separate UCLA Stata pages: (i) www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/output/Stata_interval.htm (ii) www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/dae/intreg.htm (iii) www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/dae/intreg2.htm As well as an example by
Estimation taking account of sample selection with Stata. Cheti Nicoletti. ISER, University of Essex. 2009. Estimation commands: truncreg, tobit,. heckman, heckprobit,. treatreg, ivreg. Other useful commands: ivprobit, ivtobit. Useful option in the estimation commands: pweights. truncreg. The truncreg command is useful to
>I cannot execute the "intreg" command in Stata, despite my best efforts. Here is yet another example, which is a slight variation on the example already contained in Stata's printed manuals: www.nd.edu/~rwilliam/xsoc73994/intreg2.pdf. The key commands are webuse womenwage, clear
As for your question, I am quoting from the Stata manual (v13-page 881):. "intreg has two parameterizations for the log-likelihood function: the transformed parameterization (beta/sigma, 1/sigma) and the untransformed parameterization (beta, ln(sigma)). By default, the log likelihood for intreg is parameterized in the
