I have a 2000 BMW 323i with 97k miles. I bought the vehicle a few months ago. I dont think the original owner changed out the tranny oil before. When is the factory recommedations for change? At how many miles? I was thinknig about putting in redline MTF. Any recommendations?

Both the automatic and manual trans take ATF. Don't go by the lifetime fluid that BMW says because its not lifetime.
