4 Dec 2008 Offline Activation Failure - posted in Help & Support: The Release Date Check Failure window appeared on mine, I have the internet but it has been 12 Ive reinstalled this but now the manual installation button does not work still, tech support has not offered any ideas as to where another file might be kept

After installing it (and Games for Windows Live and Rockstar Social Club), I can't seem to activate it. When I try to manually activate it according to the guide on https://support.securom.com/rockstarunlock/GTA_IV/index.php?c=unlock, it says the activation is successful, but If not then contact RockStar.
15 Sep 2010 They've done amazing things and, when each new patch has broken their mods, they've fixed and improved them. You need specific files installed to enable them, you need the right version for your copy of the game, and you often need to manually extract files to folders within your GTA IV install.
24 Dec 2012 Hello. I bought and downloaded GTA IV yesterday. I tried several times to launch it, but it still won't launch.
