Players can choose to leave 1 to 3 drakes alive, which will improve the loot they get from Sartharion. Leaving all 3 drakes alive will give you a nifty title as well as a mount. This makes it so even geared players still come back from time to time. Depending on what you want to do will determine which drakes you should kill first
Sartharion is a black dragon boss located in the Obsidian Sanctum of the Chamber of Aspects. He is charged to watch over the twilight eggs in the sanctum. This part of the Obsidian Sanctum contains 4 mobs of interest. These mobs are Sartharion (the raid boss himself) and 3 drakes, Vesperon, Shadron , and Tenebron.

What you want to do is get an all melee dps group, this is the easiest because everyone stands in the same spot, and also you can get the melee dps buffs only and have TONS of raid buffs.

15 Nov 2009 Sartharion and his three lieutenants (all drakes of the twilight dragonflight); Shadron, Tenebron, and The Obsidian Sanctum allows for 10 or 25 man versions of the raid, and also allows groups of raiders to decide if Obsidian Sanctum style="font-weight: bold;">Trash Mobs and the 3 Drake Lieutenants.
Use: Teaches you how to summon this mount. This is a flying mount. Requires Level 70. Requires Artisan Riding "It never pays to leave a live dragon out of the equation." Drop: Sartharion.
