The adjoining restaurant is the only one in Philippsheim and the food is excellent. It is closed on Tuesdays, however open for breakfast every day. Therefore, for dinner a visit to the supermarkets in Speicher (Rewe or Aldi) or plans for eating elsewhere need to be made - there are no shops in Philippsheim. The train station
“We cannot say enough good things about Landhaus Biehl. The staff was excellent and very attentive to our needs. The restaurant had great food and was not expensive. The rooms, while rustic, they fit in perfectly in the small village of Philippsheim. Additionally, our rooms were usually serviced while we eat breakfast.
Great all around! I would recommend Landhaus Biehl to anyone, business or pleasure. Nicole and Dirk are lovely people and have a lovely place to stay and eat. very close to Spangdahlem ab and bitburg/other places to sight see. i walked the many bike trails around town and along the kyll river. Charming inn in a small village in rural Germany. We stayed for four nights while exploring the area and researching family roots. The restaurant has an extensive menu and excellent food. The owner/hosts are very friendly, helpful and informative. Rooms are clean and spacious with scenic views from the balconies.
