I just started playing Karthus, and I really love him. Havn't had much problems with anything so far, except for leblanc. No matter how far away from her you are, if you want to hit minions, you'll be in her range. She can just teleport to you and instantly kill you! How do you counter this? I know the obvious,
10 May 2014 I remember Faker counterpicked Leblanc against Karthus in Champions Spring 2013 and smashed Easyhoon's karthus so hard. highlight : youtu.be/ . The rework made her slightly stronger late game, but her improved wave clear alongside the Athene's build is what makes LeBlanc work now.
Unless Karthus builds Merc Treads + Abyssal Scepter + other +HP/MR items, he's not going to survive your burst at after level 11 and if he does build to Like I said though before, Karthus in general isn't going to build to survive against LeBlanc, he gets really weak if he starts subbing out sub-optimal items
Try to farm under tower; Karthus is good at it. You ware more useful in teamfights than she is, so try to reach a full build before she does. Unless you are laning against Froggen there is nothing this guy can do to you. From level 2 and onwards you will be chunking his health with QW harass with ease suffering little if any retaliation. Build a little tankier (catalyst and an MR item, usually a chalice or a negatron, and some HP pots), and after he unloads combo on you, do not run: start attacking him with Qs after his silence wears off, his Riftwalk is not up for another ~3-4 seconds after combo, so you have that time to deal some damage
