Movie Review: "Taxi 5" (2018)
EuropaCorp, founded in 2000, and in executive producing charges by writer/director Luc Besson, who presents after 11 years another warming up car-action-chasing-round into fairly capable hands of actor/director Franck Gastambide, who delivers a non-stop action-comedy with some wild cinematic car chases including exclusive high-end brands as "Ferrari" and "Lamborghini" type 458 to excellence looks with an occasional missing close-up on shifting gears, when original actors Samy Naceri & Federic Diefenthal are hardly missed in an short-lived, yet entertaining genre formula mix surrounding Italian diamant heist robbers, utilitzing sportif muscle cars, machine guns and threating torture instruments to let "Taxi 5" never miss the homaging moments of taking pieces from the genre classics as "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003) or "Ronin" (1998) of in the end just being entertained for 95 Minutes in the dark of a movie theatre's auditorium, when I had exclusivey chances this week of April 11th 2018 to witness quality motion picture entertainment made in France.

... WHERE IS DANIEL? WHERE IS EMILIEN?
Unfortunately, this film is good enough without them. Now they sever "Daniel" and "Emilien" from Taxi series, we can see the star is the Taxi itself. The movies are good. Your usual Taxi series quips and comedy are there. The high speed chase is there too, a lot longer than Taxi 4, and definitely more interesting than Fast Furious series.
