The main modifications consisted in deleting some obsolete options or packages, and the fb switch-font command defined just after begin{document}; re-defining it with fontspec and using Latin Modern rather than Computer Modern since the former exists in Opentype format. Here is the beginning I used

This means your project uses the fontspec package, which can only be compiled with the XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX engines, so you'll need to change your Overleaf project's compiler accordingly.
