To clean the cooler: Unplug the cooler. Check to see if your cooler is equipped with a water guard. If you do have a waterguard you need to remove it. Rinse the reservoir out with a baking soda and water solution, use approximately 1 cup of water and 2 tbsp of baking soda. Replace the water guard kit.
Rinse out the remaining cleaning solution. Fill the inner reservoir with water four times and pour it out through the (cooler temperature) tap and into a bucket. Be thorough in this to make sure no bleach or vinegar taste is left behind. Lift off the drip tray and scrub well.
