This course is intended for people who wish to receive the theory and practical skills required for correct manual handling. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work, (General Applications) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4 of Part 2, outline the requirements that must be adhered to in relation to manual handling. Download

There is no requirement for a FETAC Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor to be registered with the QQI if he/she is providing manual handling training to employees. the law, provided he/she is able to prove that they are equivalent to the Irish Guidance on Manual Handling Training and afford the same level of protection.
