What is IELTS?
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is an English language assessment program. IELTS Preparation is essential for anyone who plans to migrate to an English speaking foreign land either for education or for work.
IELTS was devised in 1989 for non-native English speakers to showcase their English language capabilities and hold a chance to settle permanently in an international destination.
How and Where to take IELTS Test?
IELTS is conducted 48 times a year, and there are over 1200 IELTS test centers in 140 countries of the world. Most of these test centers are managed by the British Council, IELTS Australia, language schools or universities.Each test center conducts IELTS upto four times a month based on local demand. IELTS Academic is performed on all 48 dates of the year whereas IELTS General Training is conducted only on 24 dates.A candidate can choose any location and date for IELTS as per his or her convenience and based on the availability of seats. Earlier, a candidate had to wait for 90 days before re-appearing for the IELTS examination but now the time limit has been removed. The candidate can retake the IELTS exam anytime and anywhere.
