I may be missing some steps here, but I finding it impossible to completely uninstall FS9. When I put disk 1 in and click uninstall, the computer gets hung up and I get the message it is no longer responding. but when I run FS9, I get all these messages about missing scenery files. aside clearing the entire. In the Look in list, click My Computer. Click More Advanced Options, and then click Search hidden files and folders. Click Search. Click the FS9 folder. Note If the folder does not exist, close the Search window, and then go to the "Remove registry entries for Flight Simulator 2004 - A Century of Flight" section. Uninstall FS9 using that, it'll delete the junk and registry files too. Then download Ccleaner (free) and clean the computer using that. Then go to the (username)/app data/roaming/microsoft folder and delete the FS9 folder if it's still there. So I tried to uninstall FS9 by uninstalling all addons, putting in CD1 and uninstalled FS9 itself, then deleted the remaining folders and finally cleared the registry with CCleaner. But the problems remained as well as my settings. Somewhere I forgot something to delete, but what? The uninstall doesn't seem. Since FS9 was installed when it first came out I have added several programs including UT Canada, UE, USA roads ..several aircraft & a couple of freeware scenery enhancements like Bermuda, Cancun & florida. Unfortunately I have been getting more program crashes & it is difficult for me to to even load.
