På ungefär 4 dagar så spelade Rancid in sin första skiva, även denna som ep:n blev självbetitlad. Gurewitz var med körade på en del låtar, men det var inte han som producera, detta gjorde Donell Cameron.
Många av låtarna på skivan handlade om lokala politiska händelser och om bandets privatliv och händelser från deras vardag.
