Jag sitter i skolan, har precis skrivit nationella prov i engelska. När jag läste igenom min berättelse tänkte jag att det skulle bli en perfekt bas för en dockkaraktär! ( Alyssa altså) Vad tycker ni? :D
Across borders
My name is Sarah. I live in Australia, in Queensland actually. I have a mom and a dad, two brothers and one sister. My sister lives in Finland. She’s sixteen! She moved out last year. Why? Does she go to international school? Is she an exchange student? Is she in some kids-jail for burning up the city hall? I wish! It’s a boy! A freaking boy made her move to the other side of the world! Let me start from the beginning;
Two years ago she was playing Wow a lot, World of warcraft that is. Quite a fun game, I played it a bit too. But the problem isn’t that she played a lot. The problem is that she got more concerned for the people than the actual game. First she met a guy that she kind of liked. They talked for a month and then he grew tierd of her. Then she met a other boy, they talked for two months and she gave him her phone number. Mum didn’t know about it until she discovered that Alyssa (that’s my sisters name) was getting up in the middle of the night to talk to him and she got suspiciously expensive phone bills. Mum yelled at her for giving her number to a stranger and made her pay the WHOLE phone bill as punishment. Including my calls to my best friend that was on vacation in Sydney at the moment. We stopped hearing her go up in the middle of the night for a week but she couldn’t keep off of him. Mum craved that she paid all her calls herself and that she would let her talk to him too check what kind of guy he was. Mum accepted him, he seemed quite nice.
Dad likes skiing and they wanted to go to Norway for summer vacation. Alyssa forced us to go to Finland instead. We were there in a month and celebrated Christmas with her ‘’boyfriends’’ family. Apparently it’s supposed to snow at Christmas. How weird is that?!
The day before we were suppose to go home she said that she would stay in Finland and live with her boyfriend Örjan (it took me half an hour just to find out how to write ‘’Ö’’) Mum and dad was chocked. I think that she planed this all the time… That’s why she took her stuffed animal that she haven’t used for five years and emptied her Australian bank account for the trip. My parents, myself, my two brothers and Örjans family tried to break them apart. But she refused to pack her things to go home. We stayed another week to try and convince her but the last day she and Örjan ran away. We had to go home because school started and my parents already skipped their jobs for a week and dads boss threatened to fire dad if he didn’t come to work. We left money so Örjans parents could send Alyssa home. Three days later a Swedish school called and said that Alyssa was living at their campus and studied sience. Same thing as she studied down here.
Now she calls three times a week and tells us about her life in Finland/Sweden. Örjan and Alyssa is hireing their own apartment in Finland. She travels by train every Monday to live at the school and study. And every Friday she travels back to Finland too live with Örjan. It seems like the Finnish guy she met on wow is the love of her life.
