A game warden moves his family to Lake Placid, once the site of deadly crocodile attacks. Locals assure him the crocs are gone, but his mischievous young son finds a few baby crocs and begins feeding them. They quickly grow into very big adults and start attacking the game warden's family and nearby town.
Killer crocodiles and their offspring terrorize residents of a small community.
I enjoyed Lake Placid 1. The first sequel was quite bad and I would have expected the third attempt of this series to be much better with all the special effect arsenal at disposal.
What a disappointment. The story is terrible, the acting is under par and the special effects are the worse I have ever seen. The reptiles are so unreal. You can see through because the special effect is so bad. The story line makes no sense. The actors are just beginners and I would have never chosen them at all. In fact, if I had been the producer, I would have cut all cost after watching the first 5 minutes of this appalling piece of acting.
What a waste of time this movie is. If there was possible to put a 0 star, this would have been my choice.
Wow, this is bad. The only thing entertaining about this movie are the IMDb reviews. What is it about the kid that makes you wish for him to be devoured by the plastic crocodiles? Actually the cast is not half bad, but the special effects are just so awful that it distracts you from the content. Well, that might actually be a good thing.
My mother might actually enjoy this, since the scenes just go on and on and you cannot miss any turn of events by popping out to the fridge. The crocs are still there. Yep. They are still there.
Making movies is not easy and I am not saying that my croc movie would be any better, but in some weird way the best purpose for this movie is to use it as an ego boost. I cannot possible be this bad at my job - can I?
Matter of fact, the recently-released US DVD contains the Unrated Version. Besides several trivial extended plot scenes, the main differences are the nudity scenes, which really upvalue the movie. In almost any scene, where a girl shows her boobs, the TV Version contains alternate more harmless footage. The splatter scenes remain unharmed and are pretty bloody for a tv production, even though they're rare. a5c7b9f00b
