The tough biker Harley and his no less tough cowboy friend Marlboro learn that an old friend of theirs will lose his bar, because a bank wants to build a new complex there and demands 2.5 million dollars for a new contract in advance. Harley and Marlboro decide to help him by robbing the corrupt bank. They rob the Bank transport and get hold of an amount of a new synthetic drug. Now they are targeted by criminal bankers.
Forced by the imminent foreclosure of their friend's bar, two lifelong buddies will decide to rob a bank's armoured car, not knowing that its cargo is not money but a new street drug.
The movie is a fun film about friendship and eratically created characters based on cultural icons of the 20th century. It is not the best written film or the best acting but it is a just a fun flick to watch about futuristic Burbank and see your favorite vices come to life, have a mind, a voice, a opinion and even some advice.
This movie has been knocked for ages, but if you sit down kick back and relax this is the movie for you, its a movie for a warm Saturday night, with a couple of beers, and just watch the action as Don Johnson & Mickey Rourke have fun with this movie, there is enough laughs and a huge amount of action to satisfy anyone, who enjoys a movie where you don't have to think about every detail for the length of the film.
With names like Harley Davidson,Marlbro, Jack Daniels & Virginia Slims you know this is not a serious movie but one to be enjoyed for what it is.
A young Tia Carrere has a small bit part in the movie as well.
But for those who love action, well he we have a movie to be enjoyed
Due to the usage of a butterfly knife two scenes had to be cut in Britian in order to obtain a BBFC 15 rating. This censored version was later released on VHS whereas all cuts were waived for the DVD release which is also rated BBFC 15. a5c7b9f00b
