Sep 25, 2012 I am getting loads of emails about how to make this bath puff/loofah costume that my daughter wore last Hallowe'en. This is a no sew project that anyone can make. It is made in 2 pieces and can easily be removed to use the toilet if needed. You will need a tank and shorts or body suit in nude or similar
This adorable loofah costume is a great last minute costume idea. It took me 2 hours to put the whole thing together and cost around $30! Walk around on Halloween blowing bubbles and you'll be set! Materials 30 yards of Tulle 2 feet of rope 1 yard of stretch jersey fabric (matching color of the tulle) needle and thread. Steps.
Part 4. Finishing Touches. Fluff up the tulle. Fan out the tulle with your fingers, positioning the layers of each bunch so that it covers as much area as possible. Attach a white cord or rope to the costume. Spray yourself with glitter spray. Put gel in your hair or wear a shower cap. Wear shower shoes.

For the loofah: I bought a bulk order online (online is usually the cheapest) of tulle; 40 yards. Also went to the local store and bought a box (250 count) of 1" safety pins. I bought a $5 tub top at Wal-Mart, and a $5 pair of running shorts (so that it would be easy to use the restroom- a tube dress would work excellent a well).
