A religious historical dramatic miniseries about God's creation and physical landmark events leading up to the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
All glorified, shows none of the true horrors of the age other than the "struggles" of the beloved hero of the story, lacks depth and is really only watchable if you're into religion. I'm not religious but I quite like the mythological background of Christianity, the whole Demons, Angels, Day of Judgment vibe could be an appealing story that you could slip in some dogma in. Instead this is dogma with a tiny bit of story...utterly unapproachable to the average Joe.
A black Rastafarian Samson with dreadlocks?!?!? 28 minutes for a well known and popular story but relatively insignificant in the Bible. Another example of Hollywood liberalism PC gone stupid. Give me a break! That beats the KungFoo angels in Sodom last week.
David didn't recite Psalm 23 as he confronted Goliath. And he got the stone from his pouch, not the ground. Why are the screenwriters corrupting the Bible? Can't wait to see how they distort the accounts of Christ.
This series will do more damage in people's understanding of the Bible and history than DeMilles Ten Commandments.
