Whenever I try to print with Reader version 10.1.4, the program tries to save the print to a file instead. I thought, at first, it was a browser issue, but I loaded a standalone PDF file and tried to print and got the same result. Other apps, including the browser, can print non-PDF files fine. I am running Windows 7

I have the paid version of abobe acrobat 11 pro. Ever since acrobat DC got installed without me knowing I have not be able to print to pdf. I uninstalled DC which didn't help. 19 May 2017 This time find and tick on Microsoft Print to PDF to enable it. Now your print to PDF should work properly. If the file name of PDF you want to save contain commas, the file would be created with 0 bytes and you cannot find it at saving folder. As a result, it seems your Microsoft Print to PDF not working.
