Once upon a time,a little witch lived with her mother deep in the woods. Her mother taught her everything from witchcraft to cooking, and the two of them were happy together.
But one day her mother went out,and she promised her that she would be back soon.
Hours turned into days, and days turned into weeks. Her mother didn't return home.
The little witch were worried, but she knew that her mommy never broke a promise.
She kept waiting.
She waited for a whole year, and she was starting to lose hope.
Maybe her mommy didn't want to come back home. Maybe she didn't want her any more.
The little witch' birthday wasn't a happy and fun day,as it used to be.
She turned 8 this year, and her mother had promised her a year ago that she would bring her something really special.
The only company she had was the dolls that her mother had made for her.
They sat in the corner of her bed, glaring at her.
She really wanted someone to play with, but she didn't have any friends. Or pets.
She suddenly remembered a spell that her mother taught her. A spell that could make inanimate objects become alive.
She decided to try it on one of her favorite dolls.
She cast the spell, and a blue light flew out of her wand and onto the doll.
The doll twitched, and then it started moving.
The doll stood up and looked at the little witch, then it twitched again and fell to the ground. It wasn't moving any more.
The little witch frowned and stared at the doll.
Maybe she just needed to try harder,or maybe she needed to do something so that the spell would work correctly. She sat down in front of the doll and started thinking. What did she do wrong?
