A group of genetically-enhanced children escape from a lab project. Years later we meet Max, one of the escapees who now works for a messenger service in the post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest.
In a future of political, economic and moral collapse, a genetically enhanced superhuman prototype named Max escapes from military confines and dwells amidst the decadent underground street life of *Seattle* to avoid government agents who want to bring her back into the fold. Searching for others of her kind who were scattered in the aftermath of her escape, Max encounters Logan, an idealistic cyber-journalist battling repression and corruption in post-apocalypse America. Eventually, Logan calls her to the highest part of her being and Max becomes his samurai as the pair takes on the ruthless power-brokers of the new millennium. Max and Logan's odyssey leads them closer to the secret of her past, deepening and complicating their relationship in the process.
Dark Angel was a good show but at points it got well stupid, Jessica played the part very well but they did mumble sometimes *either that or it was my TV* but still if u didn't like it and just wanna yell because u thought it was stupid then don't post a comment. it annoys me and probably others if you didn't like it you shouldn't have watched it.*may spoil for some* i thought genetically enhanced children were awesome i could watch them train continuesly.and i could believe the pulse could happen because ban accounts are kept on computers so magnets could have ruined that. but the part were no one noticed what she could do ??????? i mean come on she litarly shakes because of seizures wouldn't her room mate have noticed? and asked questions and then original Cindy didn't have any questions either and when max can push her co workers across the room with out breathing real heavy? but oh well it was a good show
Dark Angel was an amazing show that had me hooked from day one. I found myself dying to find out more about Max and her transgenic back ground. The best story lines of the show were about her and the other transgenics. The show died in my opinion because of a really bad season 2 plotline and the fact that James Cameron's ego was to large to be willing to change his origional vision for a better show. Max and Logan's relationship killed the show or should I say the virus. It should have been cured early on and Logan should have been writen off. There was no longer chemistry between Max and Logan however there was plenty between the characters of Max and Alec but that avenue was stopped by Cameron. It's ashame he didn't care enough about this great show to try a different angle when the origional was no longer working. This show had the potential to last many seasons but unfortunatly that will never happen. I say shame on you James Cameron for not being big enough to know when things needed to change.Fox knew and wanted the change but you did not. So I blame you for not being able to witness this wonderful show. Fox saw no hope in the way you were headed so they ended the nightmare. Someone else said the engagement of Jessica Alba and Weatherly didn't help any and I have to agree. Chemestry if there really ever was any between them was completly gone after that. Max and Alec made the show. Jensen Ackles was the real star of season 2. Alec was the best.
