18 Aug 2017 Black Magic Macro. /macroicon "Verfire"; /macroerror off; /ac "Verfire" <t>; /ac "Verthunder" <t>. This macro uses Verfire if avaiable other wise it will use Verthunder. Both of these spells boost the black magic gauge and lets you not worry about if you are verfire ready or not.
Some White Mages like to add in who they are curing to their macros, I personally don't but if you want to here's a few ways to make those macros. . Adding text to your attack spells such as Dia and Paralyze can let the Black Mage or Red Mage know exactly what your casting ahead of time so they don't cast the same spell

I am writing this guide as a way to share what I have learned from many players in FFXI as well as some tips and tricks learned along the way. . While it is fully possible to play Red Mage without macros, please do use macros for situations where timing and timed gear changes are key, such as Maat fight and Dynamis.

Re: Red Mage Macros: A Tutorial In my experience cookies are used fast enough that putting a wait in there is not needed. I have never had it fail on me. Of course, this could just be a PS2 lag issue. Also, one can use /ta instead of /target if desired. Other than that good guide. EDIT: Oh one more thing,
