26 Apr 2006 hey i bought a LC with a B&M shifter and i wanted to know what is the deal with them?? Mine is auto but i heard a rumour that you can get 1 that is manual with out using a clutch or something???? Also how much are they worth and what kind of different B&M shifters are their. im sure that if you went to the B&M site or the Rocket ind site you would find they do a kit for most commodores, and would have full instructions on fitment. otherwise repco can get them in, as can i think autobarn. I also make Electronic Dance Music www.youtube.com/user/klampykixx?feature=mhee?.
hey man, im still sorting through the process but what ive got so far is yes they can be adapted, keas do a bracket for the box to adapt the cable from the shifter, do you have an s1 or s2 sries commodore, the basic difference is 1 is alredy cable driven and the other has a linkage setup. Im pretty sure a 3spd
Has anyone installed a b&m pro ratchet shifter in a vy ss ute with a a4, the site says they will work with that box, ive pulled the center console out out of the transmission housing , make sure you fit the right bracket , I think they have 2 or 3 brackets in the kit, but its all in the fitting instructions, read them
