Throughout history, Will became much more mature.
In the beginning he had a relationship, he really did not want children because it was the worst thing he knew, would desire to go funniest and fun, meet different girls.
But everything changed when he met Marcus, Marcus is a very different person, he has diffrent clothes and strange music. And they are why he is bullied. But they will help him with Will and buy new clothes and stuff so he fits more into their school. And that Will met Marcus, he learned to like children, wanted a relationship with a girl and he was ripe.
Marcus became more confident, and a bit more adult when he met Will and they are probably because he was always the one who was much older. And they were good enough that Marcus got a bit more paternal image since he never met his father and Will got a little more like a father to him anyway.
