31 Jul 2013 Two label-free biosensor platforms, Resonance Waveguide Grating (RWG) and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), were used to rank a large panel of anti-dengue virus NS1 antibodies. Dengue non-structural 1 (NS1) protein is an established serological marker for the early detection of dengue infection.
A RWG biosensor utilizes the resonant coupling of light into a waveguide by means of a diffraction grating. The binding of target molecules in a sample to the immobilized receptors increases the local index of refraction, leading to a shift in the resonant wavelength.
We report on a fluidic resonant waveguide grating (RWG) biosensor system that enables medium throughput measurements of cellular responses under microfluidics in a 32-well format. Dynamic mass redistribution assays under microfluidics differentiate the cross-desensitization process between the ?2-adrenoceptor
Label-free optical biosensing with high sensitivity, throughput, compactness, and low cost, plays an important role to resolve these diagnostic challenges and pushes the detection limit down to single molecule. Optical nanostructures, specifically the resonant waveguide grating (RWG) and nano-ribbon cavity based

These biosensors including surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and resonant waveguide grating (RGW) are mainly used to determine the affinities and kinetics of target analytes in a sample binding to the biological receptors immobilized on the sensor surface.
