5 Dec 2011 Hey wassup Im just picking up the game tommorow and I was wondering.. What are the disadvantages of being a pure mage but choosing nord? I dont mind
So im at about level 8 but I feel like I have already done so much. At the moment I am a Nord focusing on being a battlemage. My main focuses are one-handed, two-handed, destruction, heavy armor, restoration, and block. Is this a good fit for a Nord? Am I focusing on too many skills? What do you guys

But then again Harkon and Miraak have both had 1000s of years to hone their skills and even with all that time their skills are nothing to do a flip over

I have a high elf pure-mage, and a breton battle-mage. I don't think I could justify going a nord mage; if I were going a nord for RP I'd have to go some sort of warrior, and I couldn't pick nord for a mage+x for racial reasons. As for aesthetics - bretons look similar enough and have better abilities. SCII: SEA
