How to turn screen rotation on or off on the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
You can configure which settings are shown, and auto rotate is one of the options. In your profiles screen, click the + button and select application. In the following screen that shows with the list of your installed apps, choose the app that you would wish to turn the Orientation lock to off when opened.

8 Feb 2014 Hi, the screen on my galaxy s4 won't rotate, it stopped rotating about a month ago, I found if I restarted my phone it would start rotating again for a short time, but now it has stopped working altogether, I've tried restarting, turning it off and taking the battery out, starting it up in safe mode, turning screen rotate
Did you try this? forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-galaxy-s-iii/197436-screen-wont-rotate-all.html My s4 doesn't rotate at all but it doesn't appear to be a software problem. I have tested it with a few sensor apps and the accelerometer doesn't respond. I have an app to manually rotate. Sucks!
28 Jan 2018 To enable it, just access Settings. Then, under the My Device selection, go to Display. Scroll down to the Screen section and ensure that the Auto-Rotate Screen option is active or checked. Note that even if you already found it enabled, just uncheck and check it back again to refresh your phone settings.

I do have an otterbox on it..so the phone was not damaged in any way, but now the screen won't rotateI have checked and rechecked the auto rotate feature and also restarted my phone a few times to No availany suggestions would be really appreciated. Posted via my Samsung GALAXY NOTE 4.
