-Wire to run from backup light switch on the trans to where your auto shifter was .. The shift linkage has to be from an 88-91 Civic or CRX.
i have a 91 civic auto. its a dx model. i put a D16y8 into it. already did EVERYTHING for the conversion to work. turns on great and everything.

I started my auto to 5-speed swap last night, and wanted to give a heads up to I used to do the automatic to manual swap in my 1990 Civic EX sedan: . i just did my 5 speed conversion to my 91 civic dx 4dr and i had to drop
contrary to what everyone says auto and manual starters are the there is two wires attached to the auto shifter in there own plug in my car
I had the 5 speed conversion done and my pedals came from an EF . Wondering if this is an auto-manual issue, or an 88-89/90-91 issue.
