29 Jun 2013 Then manually focus using the viewfinder. Is it equally as sharp? Did the you have to change the place where the lens focuses on the barrel of the lens? If so, maybe the focusing screen is not calibrated. Just my guess. I sent my new d7100 in because of this problem and I'm now waiting to see what
6 Nov 2014 Follow these steps to correct back-focus issues with your Nikon D7000: Step 1: Turn the camera on and hit the Info button. Step 2: Make sure your Auto Focus is set to focus on the center focal point. Scroll down and find Auto Focus Fine Tune, which you will see as AF Fine Tune.

There were reports of focus issues with the early D7000 batches but I thought this was an urban myth,.. perhaps not. I know . As a longtime Nikon user, I too have had many focus issues with my new 7k as well. ( less than 3 Manual focus for a week with large lens' was not what I had planned. I sent it in

25 Aug 2013 I used to own two Nikon D7000 cameras, and with both, I experienced severe focus issues that would repeatedly result in blurry photos and unusable shots. . not a tack-sharp image given my shaky hand and inexperience with manual focusing, but it's still a massive improvement over what it used to be.

My D600 requires some AF fine tuning Its there assuming that not all lenses are calibrated equal and you can adjust. Its not meant to be a fix when you can't
