Slim, Otis, Frank and Alex (three boys and a girl) form a group of snowboard and skate young bank robbers. They are known as masters of the runaway art. Slim, the thinking head hatched a plan for their final retirement: five consecutive burglars, in five days, involving 20 million dollars. But this time, they're gonna have to face both the police - and the mafia!
An entrepreneurial criminal, Slim (Dorff) is as smart as they come. Cocky and confident, he assembles a team of risk-taking rush-seekers to pull off a series of five bank heists, each time using a different extreme sport to make the getaway. Following an unexpected windfall on only their second job, the gang nets $20 million in untraceable bonds. Having scored enough money to retire on, Slim and his crew decide to call the robbery game quits. But both the mob and the police have other plans in mind for Slim: they want him to keep working, for them.
Four kids rob banks, hijack armor-vehicles and the twist here is that they extreme-sport their way out (SURPRISE!). Although while watching the movie I felt like I've seen it already (it used some ideas from other well-known heist movies, but, truth be told, tried adding something here and there).
** SPOILERS ** The part I REALLY loved in the movie was the car stunts. Most of the chases were done in the good old way. Manually! Most of the sequences were done by stunt men (and very good ones at that.. bravo). The acting, however, wasn't as good. Natasha Henstridge's role in the movie wasn't even explained (she pops into the police station with a special assignment to bring down the criminals.. a few seconds later she, incidentally, moves into a building close to Slim's.. Oh Please.. And what's with love scene anyway? you don't even know the guy for crying out loud!). Clé Bennett and Steven McCarthy are, relatively, Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Green wanna-bes. They acted great, but, me personally, if I wanted to see Jackson or Green I would go and rent a Jackson or a Green movie. Not that I didn't enjoy their acting, anyway. Stephen Dorff out did himself; outstanding performance. Finally, Bruce Payne is the black dot on this movie. Over-dramatizing every small detail isn't the key to convincing. He acts like the chief of police in a 70's flick (and not one of the very good flicks, either).
Having said all of the mean things, the movie is enjoyable and I didn't regret spending time watching it. If you are sick and tired of watching movies done with computers more than real people, this movie is definitely going to be to your liking.

This film was fantastic. the characters were two dimensional and there was no depth to the film whatsoever but other than that it was pretty much perfect.
The stunts were great, the plot was quite well done, the characters well realized - I can't really think of anything wrong with it.
the best thing (and the thing which has annoyed some people on here) is that this film treats people like adults, not the dribbling morons that most Hollywood films treat us like. When they are about to pull off a hiest THEY DON'T TELL US HOW TO DO IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS. It's so nice to see something like that.
I loved it, the five other people I've shown it to loved it. It's worth your attention.
